Dr. Kitchen earned a bachelor of science degree in Dental Hygiene from Loyola University in New Orleans, Louisiana in 1978. She practiced dental hygiene for five years in St. Petersburg, Florida before earning her doctor of dentistry degree from Loyola University, School of Dentistry in Chicago, Illinois in 1987.
For over 25 years, Dr. Kitchen has been committed to providing high-quality dentistry in a personalized and caring atmosphere. Always looking to sharpen her skills, she has enhanced her education and expertise with continuing education courses. Dr. Kitchen’s extensive training includes Dawson Center for Advanced Dental study, the Academy of General Dentistry, Las Vegas Institute to mention several prestigious institutions focused on cosmetics, function and whole body health.
Named by Washingtonian Magazine as one of “Washington’s Best Dentists.” Dr. Kitchen is known for raising the standards in the dental industry. You will read about her in other publications like Washington Consumer Checkbook and Northern Virginia Living Magazine.
Community is very important to Dr. Kitchen. Old Town Smiles is a proud sponsor of RunnungBrooke, a non-profit organization that gives back to underserved children residing in the City of Alexandria, Va. Dr. Kitchen is proud of doing pro bono work for Dress
for Success recipient’s to help prepare them to get back into the work place. Dr. Kitchen is on the board and is actively involved Ocean Crest Alliance(OCA), a non-profit organization dedicated to honor, protect and restore the health of the world’s oceans and the life of the earth’s systems through conservation, research and technology. She is actively involved in building a marine research facility in Long Island, Bahamas.
